YOUR CONCEPT OF WELLNESS

"If you have built castles in the air your work
need not be lost; that is where they should be.
Now put the foundations under them."
Henry David Thoreau

DESIGNING YOUR CONCEPT OF WELLNESS
Mastering your health begins with defining your concept of wellness. The process is simple but highly individual.

Answer these 10 questions and you'll be amazed at the roadmap to optimal health that opens before you.
  1. Imagine that you are painting a picture of ideal wellness. What would you look and feel like at your ideal level of health?
  2. What's the most important element in this picture? How is it linked to your health?
  3. How large is the gap between where you are today and where you want to be? Fill in the blanks in this sentence, "Today I am (          ); when I achieve my desired wellness goals I will be (          )."
  4. What makes this vision really important to you? What will be different in your life when you achieve your vision?
  5. What will it take for you to make changes?
  6. Why do you really want to reach this vision? What would you most like to accomplish in the next three months?
  7. What might get in the way of your reaching your vision? What else? What else?
  8. Which obstacle are you most concerned about?
  9. What strengths can you draw on to help you overcome your obstacles?
  10. Where are you successful in life, and what lessons can you apply to the challenges you face in achieving your vision of wellness?
